Coffee Capers (the anthology)

☕️📚 some light reading to go with your cup o' joe

Where to start? I’ll don my Captain Obvious hat for a moment here. Coffee.

Whether you enjoy the beverage or not (spoiler alert: I don’t), there’s no denying it’s the lifeblood of many. The tales I could tell about people doing things they otherwise might not, all to get their hands on their chosen elixir… Muahahahaha!

Enter Coffee Capers: 10 tales of coffee and adventure

The stories in this anthology perfectly sum up the “Whatever it takes to get my coffee!” mentality of those who need their fix. I haven’t finished the book at the time of this post, but let’s just say that of the tales I’ve read so far, I can safely confirm the characters involved will go to any lengths for a (perfect) brew.

I make no guesses about the authors going that far.

Coffee Capers is also a reason to celebrate. My java-addicted friend M. Plummer is making his debut as a published author. That’s a special achievement and deserves to be celebrated.

Cheers to having your first published story out in the world, M, and may there be many more. I look forward to seeing what you do next. And remember, I’ve seen some of your coffee habits. Just sayin’…

P.S. Before anyone lynches me for not liking coffee, consider this: I’m leaving more for everyone who loves it. Yes, I’m using that as my “Get Out of Jail Free” card. Trust me when I say it’s saved some friendships. ;-)
