I snapped this photo with minimal framing and my phone’s camera settings set to whatever they were by default. It still captured the reflections of the trees and clouds in the water.
Will it win any awards? No. Did I take it for that reason? Also no. I was capturing a moment, and succeeded.
The other photos I took at the same location on the same day, not so much.
Looking at it reminds me that things we see mirrored might be real…but when it comes to people and emotions, they might not be.
Food for thought…
Perhaps when my author brain is back online, I’ll write a different post about written characters mirroring human traits in all the myriad ways. I’ll leave the aspect of humans mirroring other humans to those who care to delve into that topic.
